Ephemeris, by definition means a table showing the positions of a heavenly body on a number of dates in a regular sequence. I have used many programs and apps that do this in one way another. The desktop program and iPhone iPhone & iPod app goes a little further. It’s called The Photographers Ephemeris. It let’s you find locations using google (so if you can find it on google maps you can find it hear)
When you setup your locations you can click on one and it shows 4 lines sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset. Their also is a bevy of options, from the angle of the sun/moon to allowing you to move the time/date to scout locations based on where the sun may or may not be.
The desktop version uses Adobe Air and is free to download from here, you can download Adobe Air with the link from the site or http://adobe.com/products/air
